sNewsMU - RELEASED

My sNewsMU mod has been released at the new sNews site ....you'll find it on the Download page.

A HUGE thanks to Frederic Cloquell (bramsyuur at the sNews forum), for porting this from sNews 1.5 to sNews 1.6 and various other things.

Sorry it took so long folks, I appreciate your patience.

Multiple User sNews

OK...I know that people have been waiting for the sNews 4-UM (forum)addon that I've been working on for a long time. I haven't forgotten about it. I just haven't had time to work on it between client work and buying a new home that needed some updates.

Welcome to 4" Orange

Welcome! This is a test site of bakerdev.com. I'm using this for 2 purposes: to test sNews and to test out the idea of my new website development company name: 4" Orange.

sNews, according to the Solucija website: "is a completly free PHP and MySQL driven tool for publishing and maintaining news articles on a website. Integrating sNews into your existing design is simple, but you could also use sNews on it's own, as a simple Content Management System. Consisting of only one file, sNews is extremely lightweight, very easy to install, and easy to use via a simple web interface."

As for 4" Orange, I've thought about changing the name of my website development company for quite some time now. "Bob Baker Website Development" explains the nature of what I do very well, but it lacks that extra something. That hook that makes you remember it. 4" Orange is a play on the fact there is no single word in the English language that rhymes with the word "orange". The two words "four inch" together sound quite silimar to "orange".

Being the busy man that I am, it went by the wayside behind other things on my long "to do" list.

In the meantime, I had looked at Wordpress as an option. It was good, looked nice, had lots of templates avai...
