To the King

Today I received a form submission from a helpful person known as "the King". It's content was: "Hey your is not valid.... what kind of web designer are you..."

Well, thank you for pointing out that something on my site is not validating. I'll be sure to search through and find the offending page. If you happen to read this, please do leave a comment with the locations that are not valid. This may save me some time and you're length of disappointment in my design skills, or lack thereof, will be shortened.

I'd also like to think you for pointing out that I need to add e-mail address validation to my form. As you bravely left that field blank.

And since we're helping each other out. Please let me inform you that your grammar and sentence structure is incorrect. I can only assume that you speak English as a 2nd language or you were too busy laughing to yourself about pointing out my flaws that you simply forgot this. Let me help. I believe this could have been written like this instead: "Hey, your website is not valid. What kind of designer are you?"

Let's break this down:
You said: "Hey your is not valid...."
I suggest: "Hey, your website is not valid."

Clearly, you're missing a noun (person, place or thing) here. "Hey your [missing noun] is not valid....". My what is not valid? Many things could fit here (website, driver's license, library card). I can only guess you meant website or page.

You said: "what kind of web designer are you..."
I suggest: "What kind of designer are you?"

Is this a statement or a question? I assume that you meant it as a question, but there is not question mark (one of these: ?). So I could have mistaken it as a statement, though it would make little sense. To answer this question. I'm a website designer and a CAD designer. I'm getting a bit silly now. I'm sure by saying, "what kind of web designer are you..." that you meant that you're questioning my website designing abilities. Unless, you've seen my CAD work too.

Anyhow, I'm glad that we're here to help each other. Thank you for your assistance in helping me become a better designer. Hopefully I've helped you a bit with your English. Because of your submission today, we've made the world a better place.

Anyways, yeah, I can't seem to find the offending page. If I do, I will be sure to let you know. Nothing is more exhilarating then pointing out the short comings of others. :bakie:
