Multiple User sNews

OK...I know that people have been waiting for the sNews 4-UM (forum)addon that I've been working on for a long time. I haven't forgotten about it. I just haven't had time to work on it between client work and buying a new home that needed some updates.

I'm all moved in now, did "most" of my updates to my house. Only a few things left. I do have a lot of client work, but have some things in waiting before I continued. So, I decided to embark on a different mod for sNews.

I know, I know...You're saying..."Dude, WTF? Why didn't you "embark" on the darn forum addon?" Well, I noticed quite a bit in the forum over at solucija.com that people keep asking for a multiple user version. So, I decided to take that on. As of right now I have it pretty much done. I have one small feature to add in. I'm also waiting on the next update of sNews which is in development as we speak. Luka, lead developer of sNews, has been kind enough to allow the "Dudes" in the forum to test the new version, so I've been able to update my MU (Multiple User) version and keep up with the development.

So, where is it then? Right now, I'm just waiting for the public release of the new sNews update. Then I'll update my MU code and release it in the sNews forum. I'd release it here, but I'd like to keep it at solucija.com and make people go where it belongs. In the meantime, if you're jonesing to try it out. You can test the install at http://4inchorange.com/multisnews/. There are 4 user levels. Admin, Super Editor, Editor and User.

Hello, I think that the public release of sNews is over (I hope you mean 1.6, not later).

So, would it be possible, that U release the MU version? I am each day on solucija forum looking for it, but every day I leave the forum disapointed...

ya...I know.

Sorry....real life things are keepinbg back right now. I'll be working on it very soon though. I'll also be enlisting a helper from solucija as well, to get the ball rolling.

any estimated date?

I know this is taking a while to release. There are a lot of people waiting for it and some that are quite upset with me for it not being released. I apologize, but it's out of my control right now.

The mod is done, but I've made an agreement with Luka at solucija.com on when it's to be released. It's dependent on something else that I have no control over and I can't mention exactly what it is.

So, please, be patient....I think it'll be worth it.

I thought the agreement was to release it together with sNews1.6

Anyway, I am not upset (I think none can be), just feel less delight then before...

Just downloaded this from snewscms.com - tested and of course it's simply kicking all kinds of ass. Thank you so much, you've totally made my morning!
